Sploosh...!!!!!

My niece had a birthday party last month and the kids had a good old water fight..... with water ballons and water guns....and a littel splish splash in the pool.... some of the adults (im one of the kids... so im not included in this category).... well they didnt want to be left out too....

I dont think i have ever had this much fun with a water gun before......

Where Did September GO....???????

Woah... before October comes to an end ... i better put up a post about September... hmmm,... oh yah... september as always... is about birthdays.... it was non other then Dono and Rose's Birthday.....

We took dono out to a place called Oasis Garden... is that correct ah?.... its that place at the open car park opposite Sunway Lagoon Hotel... The food wasnt that great but the ambience was nice... still couldnt figure out if the place had a tropical theme or African theme... or was it both..... anyway... they had the Liverpool ManU game live on the tele... so the boys were happy...

We only could order our food at 9.30pm only because the cooks were out to break fast (it was the Muslim fasting month)... they break fast at 7.30pm... so i didnt know why they need two hours ....... nyway, we started with the drinks first. but like i said... the food wasnt that nice... but the ambience was nice and the band was pretty good too...

Since Dono and Rose birthdays are a few days apart, the girls brought in 2 cakes.....

After the game ended we decided to head over to Republic...... It was full outside but inside was almost empty...... The DJ was sucky and the JD tasted funny.... but hey ...when youre with good company... it doesnt matter...... we danced and had fun..... yup... this lazy bum got his ass on the dance floor....

There was this Indian chick putting her best RnB moves on the dance floor.... that was amusing and got us in stitches ... but hey,,,... i think she deserved some respect for having the nerve and courage in making a fool of herself... besides... she looked like she was having a ball of a time...

Interesting enuff the place became more lively after 2am...... time just passed by so fast that the next thing we knew it was 4am...... way pass my bed time!!!

Then 3 days later we got together again to celebrate Rose' s birthday... we had dinner at an italian restaurant in TTDI.,,... the one at the shops facing the main road near TTDI plaza. The food her was much much better.....

After dinner we convened to Waikiki 2..... ah!!! nice 80s and 90s music was on the airways and companied by its music video on the tele..... The band that played later was really entertaining too.... very nice.... the keyboardist was like a one man band.... he had an interesting and versatile voice. He was accompany by two other singers...

After a couple of beers and 3 tequila shots.... it was a wonder how i was still standing.... i think this was the most i had drank since christmas last year....... the next day i felt like crap........ im getting too old for this shit.......

Mel's Burpday

It was Mel's B'day a week ago and her family threw her a BBQ party. A number of friends who are studying abroad had come down.... so it was also a good opportunity to meet up with everyone... APM got together and bought her a diamond necklace and i made a custom Birthday card in a shape of a clutch handbag.

... im still here...

... yes, i still have been blogging... its just that i have been blogging on my 65vwbeetle blog .... been slowly dismantling my vw engine... I also met up with a few members of the BUGgers club as we had our 4th gathering this time held in Klang... managed to get alot of info on the vw engine.... and of cos lots of photos.

We also when for Cat's birthday party.... that was fun... it had a retro rock theme.... dont ask me what that means... i didnt know what to wear... so i ripped the sleeves off an old shirt and slapped on some jeans...

Ofcos.... a party isnt complete without a few rounds of TABOO..... we even had a few rounds of charades..... My team lost terribly in Taboo but we blew away the other team with Charades...

ANyway i just got back from Tioman last Sunday.... more on that in my next post...

Football Themed Surprise Party with a Taboo Twist

Its so strange... i have so much of free time but i dont blog as much.... am bored out of my wits...
anyway as February was coming t a close ...we had a surprise party for Sheev... like last year we had a theme... a football theme... it was supposed to be a Man Utd ... but since some of us werent fans of that particular team ... we shall just call it a football theme...

As Colin took Sheev out... Priscilla and his mum got the whole place ready.. even G cooked potato salad...

Colin was on his way home with Sheev so we all got to out stations...

I got behind a TV cabinet while the others hide in the dining

Priscilla got all of us a party gifts in the form of stress balls..... some as you can see cldnt stop playing with theirs... anyway there was a string live football gave that nite but we managed somehow i also dont know how ...but we managed to get all the guys to play a few rounds of Taboo.... We found out that the soft spoken Colin is such a hustler at Taboo.....

We played in the porch ... and im sure the neighbours werent too impressed.... co we were noise as ... a bunch of people playing taboo.......

Last Saturday My mum and sister took me and rose out for dinner to celebrate my birthday at Pizza Uno in Taipan... food was ok only.... but i have eaten their English breakfast before... and that was the bomb.... Anyway after we got back, the guys turned up at my doorstep to surprise me with beer and cake.,.... i must have been grinning from ear to ear.... and they even got me a present..... it was a big ass can kill a dog tripod for my camera..... !!!! wunderbar!!!!

Ofcos ....the guys moved on to the important things in life.... stuffing ones face and watching LIVE english football..... you can see it in their eyes that they werent impressed with the player tactics...

here's the BIG sakura tripod..... its BIG and sturdy... and damn stable.... it will certainly come in handy. Cant wait to use it properly. But the weight is surely going to be challenging... I am not sure if i would want to be lunging around with it on holidays.....

Daniel's and Evy's Farewell Party

Daniel and Me.... Cant believe its been 7 plus years we have been working together... he joined the company about a year before me... the department will never be the same again. Your guidance and 'wisdom' will be missed.

Evy and me.... 3 years assisting me in running a department..... all the best to you on your future endeavors Evy. Well this is some what a late post (as usual) cos they left on the 31st of October... We had a little get together farewell party with lots of food and cake.... then went over to Waikiki 2 to party some more....

The two clowns...... after cutting the cake.... (dont ask me why we had cake.... but i must say that the cakes where delicious ...yummmmmm)

Dan and me...... we made beautiful music together.......

September Babies

By the power of greyskull and the powers that be... i seem to know many people whose birthday falls in September... first up was Dono's Birthday last Thursday... which we threw a surprise birthday party... hmmm more like a gathering... at his place ... he even was still in his office attire... i got the feelling he was not too impressed and actually just wanted to hangout in Waikiki and maybe play some pool...

....ooookkkk... that expression on Dono's face is just down right scary....

The next day after work i got together with a few VW beetle owners at ASTAKA field... one of the guys even drove all the way from Seremban for the meet... some awesome bugs lah ... but i tell you... but i think its easy to impress me cos i can even see a lemon of a vw bug and still be so awed by it... sigh... cant wait to get my bug on the road lah.....

about half pass 11pm i left Astaka Field to go to Waikiki where Rose and a few of our friends were....I stopped at 7-11 and got a few cup cakes before making my way there because Saturday was Rose birthday... so we where counting down to midnight...



...ah waikiki... havent been here in awhile..... its still an Indian joint lah... where the Indians out number the rest... 20 to 1... we were there till it closed at about 1.30am then we headed over to '24hrs' for some nasi lemak... The others went to subang to play pool but rose and i went home... it was i think 4am when i put my head on the pillow... if i remember correctly the last time i slept this late was on my wedding last August...was like a zombie the next day.... sheesh!!..... im too old for this shit...

It was also Sheena's birthday last Tuesday.... Anyway to all September babies whom I know and yet to meet... A very Happy Birthday to all of you...'ll

Yet another APM Dinner!

About a month ago before rose and I went to Langkawi, APM had a dinner gathering over at Dono's House. Yes, apart from APM's love for music and singing ..... they love food too..... :)

Meet Priscilla... she's this really petite / lady like girl i know and after dinner she toll me about her futsal accident... yes she played futsal... and broke her little finger after a really bad fall.... i heard about it but i didnt know it was all bolted up like that... sheeshkerbabs!!!

Well next month APM is heading north to IPOH.... no points for guessing that the main reason will be to sample the food.....
