A friend of mine (Daisy) found this and had bought me some. If you notice there is no brand name written on the box... Maybe I should get the jawi writing translated....hmmm ...well.... the only thing I know is that it is made in Indonesia and it is ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED and it only comes in Malaysian (Asian) fruit flavours. The content has the same texture and feel,,,... it even has the same after taste... So is this MURAKAWA?,,,,...

Beware of Monkeys Crossing

APM (Assumption Praise Ministry) had their follow-up session, at the Lake Gardens on the first day of Raya. This was a follow-up on our last retreat in Penang a few months ago. I must say that APM has grown very nicely this year... and something tells me that the Retreat in Penang had something to do with it.
Lots of matters were discussed.... most of which where on our commitment and discipline. We also planned the 2007 calendar and it looks like its going to be a full year ahead. Overall it was a very good session.
The weather was not too bad...althought a bit hazy.. it did not get too hot... it gave me a lot of photo opportunities ... :) shot about 137 pics...
Next on APMs list is the servers camp and maybe one caroling session for december :) and of cos the numerous masses.

F1 will never be the same

.....without Schumacher. Sao Paulo circuit... the last F1 race for Schummi. This my friends is the greatest F1 driver ever. Eventhougth the stakes where staked as hight as KLCC, he still drove with all his heart and determination.
come on... how many F1 drivers you know would take 4th place after starting at 10th on the grid... then moved up to 4th place only to lose 15 places after getting a flat tire. .... coming back in 19th, he fought his way back to 4th place eventhought he does not have to anymore....
F1 was entertaining with schumi... In china, after his engine blew which cost him his drivers championship... he did not get angry and fire his crew and enginers... he went on and gave each one of them encouragement and his support..... not like some stupit renault driver who barks at his crew... Nevermind that schumi used to bully his rivals with his car... (Flashback of Michael raming his ferrari into Villeneuve's Williams a long time ago)... he is the only one I know who could take a limping Ferrari and hold off an advancing Alanso (this in the opening stages this year). U the man!!!
My hats off to you Michael Schumacher and thank you

Lets go Voltron force

Ready to form Voltron! Activate interlocks! Dyna-therms connected. Infra-cells up; mega-thrusters are go!
Let's go voltron force
From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend; the legend of Voltron, Defender of the Universe, a mighty robot, loved by good, feared by evil. As Voltron's legend grew, peace settled across the galaxy. On Planet Earth, a Galaxy Alliance was formed. Together with the good planets of the solar system, they maintained peace throughout the universe, until a new horrible menace threatened the galaxy. Voltron was needed once more. This is the story of the super force of space explorers, specially trained and sent by the Alliance to bring back Voltron, Defender of the Universe!
A friend of mine got me thinking about all the cartoons from the 80s... Voltron would be my favourite... followed closely by all the other 80s toons...

Murakawa Bubble Gum Found!

My search is over... A colleague of mine told me that they sold this in SaveMart in SS2... and it so happens that I was headed there yesterday night. They sold five for RM0.65 sen... So I grabbed all three flavours, although I do prefer the grape flavored once better..
Inside, the "balls" or the better term would be pellets where not as brightly coloured as I remember it to be... Maybe over the years, the legal level of artificial colouring has reduced, just like Cheesels... its not as orange as it was 15 years ago...
I really dont know why I got so excited seeing this bubble gum... I dont even know how to make a bubble with bubble gum... I guess once and awhile it is nice to see familiar things that we havent seen in a long long time... nostalgic maybe....

Sweets from yesteryear
There I was minding my own business waiting for the lift. When I got into the lift.... there it was ... in the left corner of the lift floor.... a reminisce of my past... I cld not believe it what I saw... Could it be??... It made me feel like a kid again...hehe... I did not know that they where still making these... MURAKAWA 'artificially flavored' bubble gum.. this is like a time capsule from years gone by.... Back in school I had to buy it every other day.. I loved the purple ones (Grape) and If i remember correctly there was Strawberry too... and ofcos Orange (as seen in pic). The best part about it is that they are so proud to say that it is 'artificially flavored'.
Tried searching the shops in my area but they did not sell this... So the guy/gal that threw this box in the lift bought this from somewhere else... but where...??? I will add this to my 'to do list' ... to find and buy this bubble gum!! ........ Have you seen this being sold anywhere?

Crikey!
He died as he had lived. The crocodile hunter with his larger then life attics will always remain the most genuine animal lover of all time. I will miss is energy even if he was overzealous in his habits, at least he was genuine. Here's to that khaki loving crocodile wrestling ..Steven Robert Irwin.

Feeling a little Patriotic

The Hibiscus ...The National Flower of our country...Malaysia... I read an article in the Star about eating flowers... yes, it seems that many flowers are good for your body... it has all kinds of vitamins and other beneficial values...
It is said to have a Cranberry like flavour with citrus overtones which are used sparingly in salads or as garnish. It is rich in Vitamins A and E, and is suppose to be a really good detoxifier.
A bowl of Hibiscus salad sounds like the ideal dish for tomorrows Merdeka Dinner...... but I say skip the salad and pass me the fried chicken ..... please!
